Fiesta de la Rama in Agaete

The Fiesta de la Rama is not only a religious celebration, but also an opportunity to enjoy the local culture, the Canarian gastronomy and the hospitality of its inhabitants.During the festival, participants, dressed in white T-shirts and colorful scarves, walk in procession to the beach of Las Nieves, carrying tree branches and flowers. The tradition symbolizes the offering to the Virgen de las Nieves, the patron saint of the municipality.
