The Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, located in Barcelona, is not only known for hosting the 1992 Olympic Games, but also has a fascinating history. It was originally opened in 1929 for the Barcelona International Exposition. Interestingly, during the Spanish Civil War, the stadium was used as a concentration camp for political prisoners.
