Betancuria Archaeological Museum

A modern space born with the vocation for the promotion of culture and research, center and core of all knowledge about the aboriginal majoreros, the mahos. Through the legacy that the aborigines left in sites such as Montaña Tindaya, Cueva de Villaverde, La Atalayita, La Fortaleza, La Pared... and that is collected and exhibited in this museum space, we can reconstruct the magical-religious world of the mahos, their material culture and their strategies to survive in an arid and difficult land for more than two thousand years.
