Alhambra

Learn about history, the enclave, the spaces that make up the monumental complex and museums, to discover everything that the monumental complex of the Alhambra and Generalife have to offer. The Palatine City is home to six palaces and two tower palaces, of which only the Comares and Lions Palaces remain. It is currently the only Palatine City of the Islamic period which has been preserved thanks to its continuous use over time. The Generalife, built between the 12th and 14th centuries, was the palace used by the Islamic Monarchs as a resting area. In addition to the visit to the Alhambra Monument, the Complex offers the possibility of accessing a series of additional spaces, particularly recommended for visiting on foot.
