Poema del Mar

Located within the Puerto de la Luz and Las Palmas precinct, it consists of a 12,500 m² building inspired by the designs of Nestor Martín-Fernández de la Torre, whose painting "Poema del Atlántico" inspires the aquarium's name.

It comprises three large distinct zones: surface marine ecosystems, deep marine ecosystems, and freshwater ecosystems. A total of 35 ecosystems are represented, distributed across various aquariums totaling 7.5 million liters of water, divided into three zones.
