Royal Botanic Garden
Introduction
The Royal Botanical Garden in Madrid, declared an Artistic Garden in 1942, houses a vast botanical collection with more than one million sheets in its herbarium and more than 5500 species of living plants. Located next to the Prado Museum, it was created by Charles III as part of a complex dedicated to natural sciences.
