Circulo de Bellas Artes

Non-profit cultural organisation. It was founded on 7 September 1925 from another society called Salón Frégoli. The Círculo de Bellas Artes remained open to the public, even during the years of the Civil War.

It is a proposal in line with the postulates of the time that uses monumental language as an ideological claim for the manifestation of power. Thus, through its different heights, a screen is organised with classical elements, which alternate with other proposals by the architect Félix Sáenz Marrero.
